OMG!!! YAY!!! England were amazing!! They richly deserved that result :-) It was their best game so far!! Argentina were filthy players, all they did was foul after the other throughout the first half and only began to play properly in the last 15 minutes. They were disgusting. The one goal was a penalty, taken by Beckham, in the 44th minute. Woo!! Owen had a few of very near misses (one off the post and two an inch too wide), Scholes did a brilliant volley, and Sheringham nearly scored when he came on as a sub. Seaman was great...for an Aresnal player *hehe* The 2 minutes of extra time were awful, I felt sick, I was so sure they'd sneak one in to make it a draw :/ [more]

It hasn't stopped raining all day. I hope its not like this on Sunday :/ Going to the bloody thing is bad enough, getting wet will just be taking the whatsit! Oh well...they can't have many more shows this summer and I get on with some of the people quite well.

Rob and Matt have both been given a week's notice from their work, (it was only temp when they started), but its a lot sooner then they thought which means they can't afford their rent, so it looks like Rob may move back in for a while. They've been in their own place longer then anyone thought...we figured they'd pack it in by Xmas *g*...He's supposed to be phoning me later :-)
